Seventh grade students did a mystery coloring project over the summer with Sewing/Quilting teacher Debbie Derr-Weaver. Each student received a rectangle of paper with shapes to color as she liked. Students submitted their completed rectangles at the start of the school year, and Ms. Debbie reassembled them to reveal an image of the Mona Lisa. Later in the school year, the students may create a quilt using the same technique but using fabric instead of paper.
