CMS students got lots of inspiration for creative art projects today. This morning we visited with Laurie Hogin about her influences, her work and her studio. We love her embrace of "empathy and weirdness" in her work. This afternoon, we took a virtual tour of the "Homemade, With Love: More Living Room" exhibition at Krannert Art Museum, and learned about the Gees Bend Quilts. In response, students--and some staff--started work on their own projects in a variety of media. Stay tuned for photos of completed work later this week!
