CMS Student Wins Honorable Mention in Art Contest

CMS 8th grader Hannah Baer-Shapiro won an Honorable Mention for "Sunny Lady," her entry into the "Celebrate the Arts!" Youth Art Competition at the Giertz Gallery at Parkland College, Champaign. Awards were announced in a virtual ceremony on March 6, and you can see all of the contest submissions here. Keep an eye out for work by CMS Alums Paula Sardela, Madeleine Orlie-Frost, Melia Kaplan-Hartnett and Grace Kahler.
