CMS welcomed over 100 guests to celebrate the eleven graduating eighth graders. Students worked hard to prepare for the occasion. Banners were created, speeches were written, and pillows were individually designed and sewn for each graduate by sixth grade students who wanted to show their appreciation for the guidance they had been shown by this special class of leaders.
Each graduate designed banner segments which were hung at the back of the tent.
Graduates were surprised by the arrival of a very long earthworm to the ceremony.
Two of the graduates spoke during the ceremony. Two seven grade students also gave speeches.
